@faroukHope’s Promise: From Oppression to Inheritance
I believe that from the depths of every pain, every oppression, there is a promise. I found myself mesmerized by this verse—‘We wished to do a favor to those who were weak.’ It speaks to a divine favour, not as a reward, but as a necessary correction. The heart aches at the injustice suffered by the oppressed, and yet, even in that darkness, there is an intention to restore. It’s as though it’s in the very nature of creation that the weak shall inherit the land, not by force, but by a favour that shifts the balance. "We wished to do a favor to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers and to make them the inheritors’. "
Chapter 28 : Al-Qasas, Verse: 5
And We desired that We should be gracious unto those who were weakened in the land, and We should make them leaders and We should make them the inheritors. (5)

The Quran as a Compass: A Heart's Guide to Faith
Sometimes, when I hear a word of wisdom, I wonder if I’m truly grasping it. I wonder if my heart is truly growing, if the seed of faith is taking root. What I find in this verse is that it’s not the question itself that matters, but the response within us. When the Quran is revealed, does it awaken a sense of deeper belief, a joy that fills the heart? Or does it stir up doubt, adding layers of suspicion to the places where we already struggle? The question is not about whether we all gain the same amount, but about whether we gain at all. The Quran is a compass, and the direction our heart points is the true measure of our faith. "The question is not about measuring gains, but about the direction of your heart."
